The dismissal of Juan Carlos Osorio as Coach of Zamalek of Egypt It is a fact and the news was already made official by his club this Monday
After his team’s defeat against Enppi on Sunday, which was the second in a row after losing against Zed last Friday, the former coach of the Mexican team He had a meeting with the club’s directors in which they thanked him.
Hours later, this Monday, the club published a message on its Instagram account, which reads a brief “Thank you, Osorio”, confirming the news.
The curious thing is that the accounts that Osorio gave are not so bad, since in seven months and 25 matches, he had 13 wins, 6 draws and 6 losses, with a balance of 51 goals for and 32 against.
However, after falling in two matches in a rowthe Zamalek board ran out of patience and they decided to cut the South American coach short.
According to reports from Micky Jnr, a journalist specializing in African soccer, the club agreed to grant a settlement of $400,000 dollars for terminating his contract early.

“I have been on the team for 7 months and we have not signed any playersalthough my request to sign a left-footed defender and a forward. I still don’t know my future with the team,” he expressed.
The Egyptian Zamalek was the fourth team that Juan Carlos Osorio led after his departure from Tri, when his time with the Aztec team ended with elimination in the 2018 World Cup in Russia after losing in the round of 16 against Brazil.
He later took the reins of the Paraguay team, but he only managed one match, as he resigned due to personal problems.
Months later he was in command of the National Athletic, team that he left to coach the Mexican team. A little over a year later he left the club and took a few months off.
For the summer of 2021, he took the reins of the Cali Americabut he could not finish the season, as he delivered poor results and after a streak of 5 losses he was fired in March 2022.
In April 2023 he arrived at Zamalek, but his adventure in Egypt ended after 7 months with the African club.
