The famous Chick-fil-A restaurant chain recognized nationally for its delicious chicken sandwich and waffle fries recently announced the opening of its 3,000th restaurant this Thursday, November 9.
Although its main headquarters is in College Park, Georgia, the chain has already expanded throughout the country offering its varied fast food menu and on this occasion Its new location will be in the historic and revitalized RedBird neighborhood, Dallas under the name Chick-fil-A RedBird
With this location it is expected to offer approximately 110 jobs in that community; as well as honoring local organizations with a series of donation efforts. In this regard, Kyana Bascomb, real estate representative for the Southwest region of Chick-fil-A, Inc. noted that “we couldn’t imagine a better location for a milestone opening,” she said.
“Chick-fil-A is honored to play a small role in the exciting revitalization of the RedBird neighborhood, and We look forward to serving our Customers as this community continues to grow and prosper.Bascomb highlighted.
Chick-fil-A, Inc. and its contribution to the community
To commemorate this new location of their 3,000th restaurant, Chick-fil-A, Inc. and Chick-fil-A RedBird will give back to the community in a variety of ways, including It will be a $300,000 donation to help combat food insecurity in the area.
Additionally, it will support Feeding America and Junior Achievement with approximately $150,000 each to promote education in these local communities. Likewise to The Oak Cliff community will be given about 3,000 backpacks with supplies and food for needy students.
Among other initiatives that will be seen within the framework of this opening, Chick-fil-A RedBird will recognize 100 local heroes and provide free Chick-fil-A tickets for a year.
