The woman explained that her son finished watching the Copa Libertadores match and went up to his room located on the first floor of the house. When she was alone He shot himself in the right side street with his police service pistol. When his family realized what had happened, they called the ambulance, but they were only able to confirm his death.

“He said that Boca couldn’t lose. He was watching the game with his brother and his dad.. I told her to have faith, that we were going to win,” added the 54-year-old woman.

“Three weeks ago he told his father not to tell me anything, but he told him ‘If Boca doesn’t win on November 4, I’ll kill myself’. “The father thought he was making a joke, he didn’t take it seriously,” Verónica told TV Chronicle.

Minutes before the young police officer took his life, he was with his father and a cousin watching the game between Boca and Fluminense. The cousin said that when he left the place he received a call informing him of Marcelo’s death.
