Some states in the United States continue to provide economic relief to their residents, especially low-income households, therefore, In Minnesota, a payment of up to $1,400 will be granted by the Energy Assistance Program.

These payments sent by the entity are for those residents who have problems with heating and electricity bills. The money is sent directly to the company that offers the service to the home that is eligible for this help.

Minnesota residents who wish to be eligible for this economic relief should know that at the time of qualification the program evaluates the size of the home, the income of the last three months and the invoices payable if they exist.

Applicants for this direct payment must provide some personal information such as: name of family members, income of each one if they have one, Social Security number, housing information, among others.

The amounts vary depending on the conditions of the home, but they range from $500 dollars to $1,400 dollars, the latter is the maximum payment for the servicesIn addition, the program can provide up to an additional $600 for those residents who have overdue bills, in order to avoid disconnection of service.
