He never threatened to accuse anyone until a couple of weeks ago, when a family with nine children visited him. He described the children as “running all over the restaurant.”

Richter said he never actually accused the family, just gave them a warning.

The restaurant is located in a picturesque location hidden in the mountains and perched along the Toccoa River.

During lunch and dinner, a long line of cars stretches along the road.

Anne Cox, who went to lunch with her family, said that believes the fee could motivate parents to monitor their children.

According to other users’ description, “This restaurant charges you more for being a bad parent,” describing part of the post where it warned of the charge, explaining that the image showed a series of additional charges that Toccoa Riverside diners could face, including a 20% tip for groups of more than six people.
