Google has taken a giant step in academic help by updating its search engine and its Lens tool with functions that will make your life much easier when it comes to tackling complex math tasks and exploring the world of science.

Google Search has evolved and now can solve mathematical problems that go beyond basic arithmetic. Do you encounter complicated calculus or trigonometry equations? Don’t worry! Simply type the equation in the search bar or use Lens to capture a photo of your task. In seconds, you will get a series of step-by-step instructions that will guide you in solving the problem, showing you the answer at the bottom. Even geometry is supported! Of course, for diagrams, it is advisable to use Google Lens, since the search bar does not allow you to draw shapes.

But that is not all. Google also supports you in physics. Are you having trouble with a physics equation and don’t know where to start? Google Search will highlight “known and unknown values” and it will present you with the proper formula to solve that specific equation. For example, if you need to calculate the average acceleration of a cyclist going down a hill, it will provide you with the kinetic formula you need.

How to access this function?

The good news is that this mathematical update It is available in both the desktop version and the Google mobile application. Although some mention the phrase “math solver” in the search bar to test the desktop experience, don’t worry! Simply type the math problem directly into the search bar, without needing to mention anything else.

But Google doesn’t stop there. It is also implementing interactive 3D models for scientific fields such as physics, biology and chemistry.. With these models, you will be able to explore objects in three dimensions and receive detailed definitions about what you are observing.

Until nowthis feature doesn’t seem to be widely available, but you can already find interactive 3D models for basics, such as individual parts of a cell and periodic elements. However, it may not yet be available for specific types of cells or molecules. We are investigating whether this patch will be released globally or restricted to certain regions.

These new Google features will undoubtedly be of great help to students, making mathematics and science more accessible and understandable. With Google as your ally, solving problems and exploring scientific concepts has never been easier.
