The Texas Rangers made the Arizona Diamondbacks experience a true Halloween night at Chase Field, defeating them 11-7 in the fourth game of the World Series. In a match in which in just three innings the Rangers had already scored ten runs.
Those led by Bruce Bochy are increasingly closer to winning their first World Series and showed that they did not miss the Cuban Adolis García, who will miss the rest of the key due to an injury that forced the team to replace him on the roster. In addition, the Rangers have reached 10 wins without losses as visitors in the World Series.

In the third inning there were another five runs from the Rangers and the Diamondbacks looked surprised in their own home. With the bases loaded, Travis Jankowski doubles to right field and drives in Josh Jung and Nathaniel Lowe. But this was not enough since Marcus Semien hit a home run that also brought Jonah Heim and Travis Jankowskithere was a true tragedy at Chase Field.
In the fourth episode, Lourdes Gurriel Jr. drove the Venezuelan Gabriel Moreno who had managed to get on base on a walk and barely scored a goal for the Diamondbacks. After three blank entries, Texas scored again thanks to a home run by Jonah Heim to right field, which reached 377 feet in distance. In eight innings, the game was 11-1 for Texas.
But the eighth inning was going to be productive for ArizonaBrock Burke replaced Cody Bradford on the Rangers mound and it would not go well for him. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit a powerful home run through left field and brought Venezuelan Gabriel Moreno and Christian Walker to the plate.. People at Chase Field were waking up from what seemed like a nightmare that could have been worse.
Arizona wanted to sell their defeat dearly and in the ninth inning they began by reaching Jordan Lawlar with a walk and Geraldo Perdomo with a single, finally Will Smith was substituted after getting two outs and Jose Leclerc ended up resolvingdespite receiving two runs after a double by Venezuelan Gabriel Moreno.
Texas leaves the Diamondbacks in check
With this victory, The Diamondbacks remain in intensive care, while Texas gets closer and closer to its dream, of finally being able to win a World Series titlesomething that they have reaped little by little from the hand of a true strategist such as Bruce Bochy, and also rising in the face of all possible adversities, and like Arizona, leaving all the greats they faced to reach these instances.
The day of tomorrow the fifth of the World Series will be played and it will be known if Texas finally leaves the club of the six franchises that still do not have a World Series title in their showcase, or if the Arizona Diamondbacks are able to extend the series to Globe Life Field.
