In 2022 the actor Matthew Perry responded in instagram a series of questions that his fans asked him, and one of them said: “Playing Chandler (in the series “Friends”) is the character you treasure the most, or is there another one?”, he wrote: “I made a movie that I love called “Fools Rush In” with Salma Hayek, which was probably my best movie.”
Now, The Mexican actress turned to her Instagram account to remember the actor, who died last October 28 and of whom he has very good memories since they starred – in 1997 – in that film. She published several photos, in which they also appear Mark Wahlberg and George Clooney.

Salma’s message with which she paid tribute to Matthew was the following: “Two days ago, I woke up to the shocking news that Matthew Perry is no longer with us. It has taken me a couple of days to process this deep sadness. There is a special bond that occurs when you share dreams with someone, and together we work to achieve them. I was really touched last year when Matthew shared on his Instagram stories how much he liked “Fools Rush In.”, and that he thought that that film we made together was probably his best film…My friend, you are gone too soon, but I will continue to appreciate your craziness, your perseverance and your beautiful heart. Goodbye, sweet Matthew, we will never forget you.”
