Pérez reported that he will raise funds to help the people affected by the category 5 hurricane in Acapulco, this information was revealed on his Instagram account.

The Mexican indicated that he will auction one of the helmets he used in the Mexican GP race which was held this Sunday at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.

“Our brothers in Guerrero need us, The tragedy is unimaginable and there is no time to waste. “I am donating one of my helmets that I will be wearing (wearing) over the weekend,” he wrote in the post.

He added that the bid starts at $500,000 Mexican pesos and that all the information regarding the subject can be obtained in the account of the Checo Pérez Foundation. This Sunday in the foundation’s stories they updated the Bid amount at $600,000 pesos.
