The expectations of Mexican fans to see their compatriot did not last very long. Sergio “Checo” Pérez compete in the Mexican Grand Prix, because the team’s pilot Red Bull had an accident in the first corner of the race after colliding with Charles Leclerc of the Ferrari team.

The Mexican driver jumped from fifth position to third due to the terrible start that the drivers had. two Ferrari drivers, but all that excitement of a good start to the race was ruined when Leclerc was between the two Red Bull cars and could not avoid colliding with Pérez.

When entering the pits, the mechanics together with the Red Bull engineers They determined that it was not possible for the car driven by Sergio “Checo” Pérez to return to the race. Automatically, the Mexican driver’s frustration was evident as he hit his steering wheel as a way to vent.

The team’s top brass decided to take the car into the pits to try to make some quick repairs to see if they could at least keep Pérez in the race. Even though he had nothing to fight, but because The damage was very great, they told him that there was nothing they could do and that’s when the pilot left crying.
