Faced with increasing tension in the Middle East, The Biden administration issued a new recommendation to US citizens remaining in Lebanon to leave Lebanon while flights are still available.

The war between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas not only continues in Gaza, but threatens the tranquility of other neighboring countries, Well, violence could escalate if they choose to intervene in favor of terrorism.

Anticipating this situation, The State Department shared a list of flights still operating from Beirut’s Rafic Hariri International Airport for U.S. citizens interested in departing Lebanon.

Through a brief statement, the US authorities warn their citizens temporarily or permanently settled in the Middle East to avoid depending on the aid provided by the government, as it does not guarantee their removal from Lebanon in the event of a social conflict breaking out.

“The best time to leave a country is before a crisis, if possible. Evacuations of civilians from a foreign country with U.S. military assistance are rare. “There is no guarantee that the United States government will evacuate private American citizens and their family members in a crisis situation,” refers to the text.

Likewise, the North American government emphasized that in times of crisis it cannot provide certain types of transportation or evacuate pets along with US citizens.

It should be noted that andThis is the second recommendation issued by the State Department in less than a month after Israel was attacked by Hamas terrorists on October 7.

Faced with the new call to the Americans living in Lebanon, Some experts foresee that a new problem could arise between Israel and Lebanon, since the militant group Hezbollah operates in the latter’s territory, which supports Hamas with the backing of the Iranian government.

Meanwhile, in Gaza the bombings by the Jewish armed forces continue to destroy all the buildings where terrorists could allegedly be hiding.

However, thousands of innocent civilians have lost their lives as collateral damage of the war conflict and due to the lack of humanitarian aid to provide them with medical care, as well as food and water.
