Businesses, hotels and homes were severely affected, some reduced to rubble. The population is suffering the damage, but also people who do not live in the port were affected because they had properties in the port, such as some famous people, including the actress Ingrid Martz.

The actress revealed that she did not manage to open her apartment, in which she had invested all her resources that she obtained in the soap opera “Vencer la Culpa”, and that she barely finished furnishing it.

Ingrid Martz received the apartment three months ago

“They had just delivered it to me, about three months ago, I was recording the novel (Vencer la Culpa), but as best I could, I was carrying things for a while, or I was buying furniture and I was seeing that they received them,” Ingrid Martz commented in an interview with the journalist Shanik Berman.

“I went the first weekend after the delivery where I had practically nothing and then two more weekends to finish arranging, storing… I had just finished it, from the refrigerator to the blender, so you understand what I mean, new cutlery, everything new,” said the villainess of “How rich poor people”.

The beautiful 44-year-old actress said that she intended to travel to the port of Acapulco this weekend, prior to the celebration of the Day of the Deadbut Hurricane Otis devastated their new apartment.

“Everything I earned in that novel I invested in that place and the hurricane took it away and the truth is that it makes me very sad, because we don’t even know where to start, there is so much work and so many people affected, everyone is dealing with their own problems and I understand“He indicated during the interview.

And given the severity of the damage, the authorities have been overwhelmed to provide support to the population, who was left homeless. Debris is still scattered on the ground, sheets blown away, walls destroyed. Due to the lack of food, businesses began to be looted.

“I think about my department and I say: no, there are millions of people much more affected who were left with nothing, lives that were lost and I am truly very sorry, I was very sad. I’m still sad”, said the Mexican actress.
