The Mexican team did not rise or fall positions in the new FIFA ranking that was published this Thursday, so it remains behind the United States in the general ranking.

The Mexican team defeated Ghana and tied with Germany in their two friendly matches. For its part, the United States was defeated by Germany and defeated Ghana by a landslide.

Team USMNT continues to be the best country in the Concacaf ranking, ranked number 11. For its part, El Tri was in 12th place with a small points cut from the USA.

Among the Concacaf countries, Panama displaced Canada from 44th place in the world ranking. The Panamanians won 2-1 against Curacao and 3-0 against Guatemala in the last two games and are approaching the semifinal of the Concacaf Nations League.

While the Canadian team played only one match and lost 4-1 to the Japanese team.

The national team podium is maintained and Venezuela is among the best 50

Argentina, France and Brazil maintain the podium of the FIFA men’s world ranking, while Venezuela is once again among the top 50 positions, Lithuania registers the greatest increase and Spain remains eighth, a few points behind the Netherlands, after the 165 international matches played in the last month.

Although the leading trio has not changed – Argentina (1st), France (2nd) and Brazil (3rd) -, the ‘bleus’ have expanded the points margin with respect to Brazil. La Canarinha, after drawing against Venezuela (1-1) and losing to Uruguay (2-0), allows England (4th) to get closer.

On the other hand, Belgium (5th) maintains its position, but sees Portugal (6th) approaching, knocking on the door of the top five.

After the draw against Brazil and the win against Chile, Vinotinto once again gets into the top 50, due to the fall of Ivory Coast (52nd).

Venezuela is the only CONMEBOL team that has never played in the final phase of a World Cup and is currently fourth in the South American qualifiers for the 2026 edition.
