The Beatles, one of the most iconic groups in rock history, composed of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison, continues to be listened to by thousands around the world over the years. Recently, through their social media platforms, this legendary British band has unleashed the excitement of their followers by releasing a highly anticipated announcement.

On Instagram, the original group of Liverpool shared a countdown alongside the image of a white cassette with orange details, scheduled for Thursday, October 26. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr also shared the same image on their social media profiles, generating even more expectations.

The publication has left many followers with questions, as it redirects to the official page of the Beatles, where the only option available is subscription via email. Followers remain in suspense due to the uncertainty of what this announcement may mean.

However, it is important to remember that in an interview with the BBC last June, Paul McCartney revealed that the iconic band would release an unreleased song, with the particularity that, thanks to Artificial Intelligence, fans will be able to hear Lennon’s voice in the song. Although no further details were provided about the name of the song, a rumor circulates that suggests it could be titled “Now And Then,” a 1978 composition created by the creator of “Imagine.”

This unreleased recording was made possible by Yoko Ono, John’s widow, who gave Paul McCartney a cassette recording titled “For Paul.” which contained several songs, including this one. This material was recorded by John Lennon shortly before his death in 1980.

It is relevant to mention that already in 1995 and 1996, unreleased songs by Lennon, like “Free as a bird” and “Real Love.” However, what sets this occasion apart is the application of Artificial Intelligence, which has played a crucial role in this project, beyond a simple remastering.

Paul McCartney teamed up with The Rolling Stones on their new album

On the amazing album Hackey Diamonds by The Rolling Stones, a particularly electrifying cut stands out: “Bite My Head Off”. This track, which lasts a little over three minutes, begins with a powerful drum beat, followed by an aggressive riff over a frenetic rhythm. The musical piece is completed with a distorted bass line, performed by none other than Sir Paul McCartneythe legend of the Beatles.

“Macca”’s participation in the album is notable, although his role was developed more in the shadows. According to the guitarist Ronnie Woodit was McCartney who recommended the Stones to the producer Andrew Watt. The band needed someone capable of stimulating their creativity. As Wood told Mojo magazine: “I was telling Paul that we needed someone to kick our butts, and he said, ‘I’m working with this young man, he has a lot of front. We’re doing some really adventurous stuff together. Test it'”.

However, his contribution was not limited to that. It was Watt who suggested that they call Paul McCartney and inviting him to play bass on “Bite My Head Off”. The suggestion was based on Watt’s impressive resume as a bassist, having been named ninth on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the 100 greatest bassists in history in 2020. Just listen to his innovative lines on classics from the Beatle repertoire. like “Something”, “Getting Better” or “Nowhere Man” to understand how it transforms the bass into another voice within the arrangement.
