By partnering with NBCNews and Salem Radio Network, The Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) will become the first Jewish group to co-sponsor a national debate.
Considered the largest Jewish political organization aligned with the Republican Party, The RJC chose to accept the invitation of the Republican National Committee with the objective that citizens can identify the best alternative to choose as a Republican representative on next year’s electoral ballot.
Through a statement, Norm Coleman, national president of the RJC, referred to the transcendental role that United States foreign policy assumes in the war unleashed after Israel was attacked by the terrorist group Hamas. a few days ago and that is why the organization he presides, in some way, chose to get closer to the Republican Party through a very important event for its members.
“As the horrific events of the past week have unfolded in Israel, the issue of American foreign policy has taken on an even greater role.
American strength and determination – as well as our candidates’ vision for America’s role in the world – are more important than ever”, he pointed.
For its part, Matt Brooks, executive director of the RJC, mentioned that becoming a co-sponsor of the third debate cements his connection with the Republican Party.
“This is a historic opportunity. “It demonstrates the value and importance that the Republican Party places on the Jewish community and its growing support for the GOP, as well as the impact that the Republican Jewish Coalition has as an organization,” he indicated.
It should be noted that The third debate of the Republican presidential primaries will take place on Wednesday, November 8 in Miami, Florida, where Donald Trump will continue to be the great absenteesince the New Yorker boasts of having a wide lead in the polls and therefore refuses to exchange points of view with his political rivals.
However, it is proposed that the former president of the nation attend the RJ leadership summit, which will be held at the end of this month.
And practically Trump is obliged to ingratiate himself with the Jewish community after a few days ago he criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for not being prepared to prevent the terrorist attack against Israel.
