Mexican soccer promise debuts at 13 years old in the USL and sets a new record

Davian Kimbrough, a soccer player born in California and of Mexican descent, debuted this week at just 13 years of age in the USL, wearing the Sacramento Republic FC shirt, also became the youngest debut in the history of professional soccer in the United States.

Kimbrough came on in the 87th minute of his team’s 2-0 victory over Las Vegas and also came on for Keko Gontánformer player of Atlético Madrid, Deportivo La Coruña, Málga, Eibar, among other clubs in the Spanish League.

The victory of Davian Kimbrough’s Sacramento Republic keeps the team in first position in the USL Western Division with a total of 58 points.

In the sights of the Mexican National Team

Davian Kimbrough, at 13 years old, has been called up to the under 16 categories of the Mexican national teamfrom where they do not lose sight of him since they are aware of his great talent, and the contribution he can make to the future.

A week ago he received his first call to the Tri sub 16 where he joined the team led by Omar Tapia, in the High Performance Center. It is not yet known if he will be part of the Mexican team that will play in the U17 World Cup.

Kimbrough is the son of an African-American father and a Mexican-American mother. At 13 years old, he is 1.80 meters tall. And from now on there is a fight between the American and Mexican teams to have this gem play with one of their teams. At the moment, at his young age, he is making history and it is expected that he will be taken little by little.
