Peso Pluma, the star of the moment and the greatest exponent of the Corridos Tumbados arrived at Billboard’s Latin Music Week making as much noise as possible and taking the stage.

The Mexican artist delivered a fascinating hour-long set to an equally energized audience at the exclusive concert by Peso Pluma for those attending Latin Music Week, titled “Billboard En Vivo”. The show began with a black and white intro introducing the artist and the spirit animal “The Double P,” a huge spider.

At the start of the show, Featherweight said: “It was great to be here tonight. I want to thank each and every one of you for your help. Because corridos are what people want to hear, we will sing some of them. This is what Double P sounds like when they say it in Miami.”

The regional Mexican singer performed songs such as “Rubicón”, “El Belicón”, “Rosa Pastel” with special guest Jasiel Nuez, “Bye”, “El Azul”, “Lady Gaga” and “Ella Baila Sola” backed by his superband.

The artist, whose real name is Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija, who was born in Jalisco, said: “I want to thank my band because without them none of this would be possible. I would also like to thank my Billboard clan. Thank you to the entire team for your help.”

Peso Pluma was part of the presentations of Billboard Latin Music Week 2023

The “The New Mexican Revolution” panel of Billboard Latin Music Week 2023, sponsored by BMI, featured the participation of Adelaido “Payo” Sols of Yng Lvcas and Grupo Frontera as well as Juan Javier Cant and of course Featherweight. Who also received recognition.

The history books of Latin music will note what we are doing,” he said confidently and proudly.
