Julio Cesar Chavezconsidered one of the best Mexican boxers of all time, accumulated a large fortune throughout his life in the ring, however, he lost much of that wealth due to addictions and his lack of financial knowledge.
During his successful career, the boxer acquired several properties. Some he still preserves, while others he converted into rehabilitation centers and many others were abandoned, as is the case with one of the residences he had in Mazatlán, in the north of Mexico.
That property was recently visited by a TikToker, who not only showed it from the outside, but also from the inside, so we were able to witness the deplorable state in which it is located.
According to the influencer, the former mansion of Julio César Chávez is located right next to the former house of the Arellano Félix, feared drug traffickers who made Mexico tremble in its boom years.
Although today very little remains of what that palace was in its prosperous years, something remains intact and that is the majesty of the place.
The house also has overgrown weeds, which gives the place an even more gloomy touch, as well as various rooms in the backyard, which were surely occupied by the Chávez family’s employees.
It is unknown what the value of the property was, it is even pointed out that there is a possibility that it was not purchased by the former athlete, but rather that it would have been a gift from the Arellano Félix family, but that may never be known.
