A day of terror was lived in the Mexican state of Morelos, where the students and teachers of an elementary school ran to safety after hearing a shooting in the vicinity of the campus, located in the municipality of Yautepec, which left one person dead. outside the premises.

The parents found out about the situation and immediately went for their children, panic was present throughout that time.

In this regard, the Government of the state of Morelos issued a press release in which it explained what happened in the vicinity of the “Miguel Hidalgo” elementary school, explaining that educational staff guarded the children and that the police carried out security rounds after the shooting.

Later, the State Security Commission confirmed that the shooting in the municipality of Yautepec left one dead, although it did not specify whether it was an event related to organized crime or common crime.

For its part, the TV Azteca network explained that two people were treated for a nervous breakdown, and that no injuries were recorded on the school campus.

Bomb threat at Morelos school

That same day, the Morelos Civil Protection Secretariat reported, through its social networks, that it received two bomb threats inside private schools, one in the city of Cuernavaca and another in the municipality of Cuautla, for which reason emergency services were called. deployed to the area.

In both schools, more than 400 people were evacuated, according to the site La Silla Rota. After the pertinent reviews, it was determined that there was no explosive device, and the state government called not to make false complaints, since so far this year they have received 25.
