Starting Thursday, September 14 Alabama “eligible-unpaid” residents will start receiving a stimulus check by the state’s 2022 Permanent Fund Dividend.

According to Governor Mike Dunleavy (R-AK) “PFDs can go a long way to offset the record energy and food costs we are experiencing, preparing for winter, paying off debt, saving for college or whateveror,” he said in a statement.

How much is the amount of the stimulus check?

According to management, the amount of the payment is $3,284, which was mostly delivered to eligible recipients of the dividend, but which still to be distributed to the “eligible-unpaid” therefore, those who have this status before this Wednesday, September 6, will be able to receive their payment next week, that is, on Thursday, September 14.

How can you qualify for payment?

Each year depending on state mineral revenues the Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend sends payments to its residents, this with the objective of “to benefit current and future generations.”

In this case, to qualify for payments, the applicant must meet certain requirements, including: be a resident of Alaska and intend to live in the state indefinitely while applying, also must not have claimed residency in another state and not be a convicted felon.

Until when can the request be made?

According to the entity, the expected dates for the application are from January 1 to March 31 each year. It should be noted that the amounts of the 2023 Permanent Fund dividend payment have not yet been announcedbut the shipping schedule is already for the month of October of next year.
