High temperatures are forecast for this weekend in southern California

Southern California will have days with high temperatures this weekend, forecast the National Weather Service (NWS).

Since this Wednesday, the thermometers have registered a slight rise in temperatures, but they will be this Saturday and Sunday when the days with the most intense heat in the entire region.

“The overland flow will weaken Wednesday through the weekend as a high pressure system forms over the Chihuahuan Desert to the north and west,” the NWS reported.

According to the specialists, in the following days the records will begin to rise in the thermometers, but from Friday the average temperature will exceed normal levels for this time of year.

It is forecast that in inland regions temperatures of up to three digits are reached.

“The warmest highs in the valleys will reach 100 degrees F, while coastal areas, about 5 to 10 miles from the beach, can reach 80 to 90 degrees F,” the NWS said.

According to weather forecasts, temperatures will begin to drop gradually at the beginning of next week.
