Mexican baseball players who have had legal problems in the US; Julio Urías would be the first to violate MLB's Domestic Violence Policy twice

There have been several baseball players of Mexican origin who have faced legal problems in USA. However, this issue is once again coming to the fore thanks to the arrest of Julio Urías last Sunday and which became known this Monday.

The Mexican pitcher was stopped by the Los Angeles Police when leaving the BMO Stadium after the defeat of LAFC in view of inter miami in the MLS for an alleged crime of domestic violence. What is the MLB Domestic Violence Policy?

This is a protocol in which the office of the commissioner of Big leagues Together with the players’ union, they signed a document on the actions to be taken in cases of domestic violence where the players are involved. The letter also contemplates accusations of sexual harassment and child abuse. The MLB have the authority to find a player guilty and they have the right to appeal immediately.
