Terence Crawford's trainer confirms that Errol Spence Jr. activated the rematch clause

Brian ‘BoMac’ McIntyre, Terence Crawford’s trainer, confirmed that Errol Spence Jr. officially activated the immediate rematch clause to try to avenge the first loss of his career that Bud gave him last July.

In an interview with Pro Boxing Fans, BoMac McIntyre stated that Crawford le had sent a message informing him about the activation of the clausebut still do not have a confirmed date for the rematch.

“Everything is going well (with Terence), yesterday he texted me and told me that Spence had activated his rematch [cláusula]. He just activated his rematch clause, that’s confirmed, but we don’t have a date yet and things like that. I hope that (it will take place before the end of the year)”, stated the coach.
