“The Jalisco Cartel tortured and beheaded five young Mexicans. And his crime? They refused to join the Cartel. So, I have a question for the president of Mexico: how much more violence can your country take, when are they going to reach their limit?” Crenshaw said.
It was then that he remembered the proposal launched previously. “I think it is time to declare the cartels enemies of Mexico and the United States. It’s about time they let us help them. The Mexican government needs the vast military capabilities of the United States,” he added.
“You have said before that I want to invade Mexico, but you know that this is not true. You know that we will never violate the sovereignty of Mexico. It is time to stop the political games and work together to combat this threat that affects our two countries,” the congressman concluded his message.
