Rapper Lil Nas X's documentary will be screened at the Toronto Film Festival

the successful rappers lil nas x He has distinguished himself for defending the LGBTI+ community in his music, and now a documentary is ready that presents him in concert, entitled “Long live Montero”which will premiere on the toronto film festival.

Directed by the Mexican Carlos Lopez Estrada and Zac Manuelthe film shows 60 days in the life of lil nas x (whose real name is Montero Lamal Hill), who explains his achievements and the problems he has had to face being an openly gay performer. With just one album, the rappers has spawned over ten chart-topping hit singles bill board.

The Toronto Film Festival will take place from September 7 to 17; it’s a statement cameron baileydirector of the event, was enthusiastic that “Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero” is part of the list of films that will be screened for the first time there: “It is a triumphant ode to the extraordinary power of self-expression, music and the identity of an incomparable artist like Lil Nas X.”
