Former President Donald Trump’s legal team, reached an agreement to set a bond of $ 200,000 dollars In the event that it is proven that there was electoral interference in Georgia, this was announced by CNN.

According to the information revealed, Trump’s lawyers, Todd Blanche, Jennifer Little and Drew Findling, held a meeting at the office of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Williswhere, among other things, the conditions to face the case in freedom were established.

The payment of that bail will allow the Republican to recover his freedom once it has been delivered to the Fulton County (Georgia) prison, where he has until Friday to appear and be dated.

Trump was indicted last week on 13 counts by a Georgia grand jury for having tried to manipulate the results of the 2020 elections in that state, where the current president, Democrat Joe Biden, won by a narrow margin.

Among the crimes is violating the RICO law (for its acronym in English), commonly used against mafia bosses, which could lead to several years in prison if proven during the trial.

Hours earlier, it was also announced that the prosecutor Fani Willis reached a $100,000 bail deal with former Trump attorney John Eastmanwho is one of 19 defendants in the Georgia election interference criminal case.
