In a drone operation, police in Mexico capture a man who strangled and incinerated his ex-girlfriend

Despite this, the crime did not stop there, Francisco Javier “N” sprayed the body with gasoline and set it on fire until it was charred; Some time later, the subject escaped to an unknown destination.

The initial search for the suspect was unsuccessful, so authorities decided to use technology to find his whereabouts.

According to information from the police corporation, A land and air operation was implemented to track down the alleged perpetrator and after hours of operation using drones, it was possible to locate him.

According to the FGJEM, with these devices, they flew over different locations where Francisco Javier could be hiding, who was finally arrested in the same entity.

Once in custody, the detainee was admitted to the Penitentiary and Social Reintegration Center “Dr. Sergio García Ramírez ”, in Ecatepec, where he faces criminal proceedings for femicide.

Femicide, a recurring crime in the State of Mexico

Along with the case of Yara “N”, The State of Mexico is the entity with the highest number of femicides in the country, with 76 murders of women per monththat is, at least two women a day die because of gender violence.
