Hispanic woman is kidnapped after a shooting in Southern California

A 19-year-old Hispanic woman was allegedly kidnapped after a shooting that occurred early this Sunday in the city of Whittierthe authorities reported.

The Whittier Police Department reported that officers arrived at the Penn Park parking lot shortly after midnight this Sunday after reports were received from a man.

The person told police that an armed suspect He approached his vehicle, inside which he was accompanied by a woman, and fired shots in his direction.

“The male witness ran from the scene and upon returning discovered blood near his vehicle and that his partner was missing,” the Whittier Police Department said in a statement posted on social media.

The woman allegedly kidnapped was identified as the Hispanic Andrea Vázquez, 19 years old.

The victim She was described as a female, 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing approximately 103 pounds.. She has reddish brown hair and brown eyes.

Vázquez was last seen wearing a long-sleeved black topkhaki pants and low black Converse shoes.

The victim was reported to have a tattoo with the name “Edlyn” on the back of her neck, as well as the constellation of Aries on the back of her right hand and a navel piercing.
