The passion for soccer has no limits, for many fans the devotion to their teams is not only on the field. This is the case of a young woman who turned viral on TikTok and other digital platforms by name in honor of the Eagles of America.
“Guide me”, It is the name of the young woman who shared her story on social networks, pointing out that she does not dislike it.
The young woman uploaded a video on TikTok in which she shows a post on Facebook with the comment: The strangest name you have ever heard in your schools. In the post he commented that his name was strange as it was an abbreviation of the name of the team that his father supports so much.
“Mine, my name is Aguideame. It means Eagles of America, my dad made it up by abbreviating the word,” says the young woman’s comment.
A week ago the comment had approximately 3,000 reactions and messages. He added that he wrote the short story of his name without knowing what would cause such responses from netizens.
In the audiovisual that he shared on TikTok, he said that his family has always been a fan of America, he even showed a photo in which he appears as just a baby with the team’s shirt.
“My parents are super fans of America, it shows. We have magazines, flags, blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, ”she recounted.
Aguideame added that many people ask him the reason why they simply didn’t put America on it, being the allusive name of the creamblue team. The young woman stressed that they chose a unique name because her mother and older sister have that name and for that reason they did not give her America.
“Since I couldn’t stay out of tradition, my dad had the brilliant idea of composing my name in abbreviations of the words eagles and America,” said the young woman.
Some of the comments on the TikTok post were from some people saying they would do the same with their children, others criticizing the idea of the name and one tagging the club’s account to invite the family to a game.
The team is currently in position 11 of Liga MX with three games played: one won, one emoate, one lost with 5 goals for and 3 against.
