Soccer player Lionel Messi, who will play the next few years with Inter Miami and scored his first goal in his debut game, was caught by the paparazzi lens while looking for houses to move in with his entire family.
According to the TMZ portal, which was the medium that released the news, the soccer star was seen this Sunday touring an impressive residence in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area.
So far it is unknown if the former Barcelona player will acquire that home or if he will continue looking until he finds the one that suits his needs and those of his family.
“It’s not yet known if Messi liked him enough to make an offer… but one thing is obvious: the guy can certainly pay whatever price he has,” TMZ reported of the residence located near the Intracoastal Waterway.
Lionel Messi’s search for a house occurs despite the fact that he owns different apartments in two of the most exclusive building towers in Florida, which would suggest that he simply has them as an investment, but not as the home he would like to share with his family during his stay of more than two years in Florida.
The former Paris Saint-Germain player also owns two apartments inside the exclusive Porsche Design Tower and another one in the Regalia building, the latter being where it was believed that he would settle with his family after his millionaire signing with the MLS club.
The apartment, which he acquired in May 2021 for $7,300,000, has an extension of 5,515 square feet, with four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, so he has more than enough space for his large family.
It also has a lobby, kitchen, dining room, living room, wine cellar for 1,000 bottles, a 2,100-square-foot terrace, among other rooms. From its terrace you have enviable views, since the unit is located right in front of the sea.
As for the common areas, the 39-story building has six swimming pools, a gym, a yoga room, cabins, a children’s play area, a bar, among other amenities.
