President Andrés Manuel López Obrador assured that in the near future Mexico will be among the 10 most important economies in the world due to the economic strength that the country is going through.

“There are forecasts, I was looking yesterday, the day before yesterday, some data, some statistics, where they make projections into the future, and In a few decades Mexico will be among the 10 countries in the world with the greatest economic strength and currently it is one of the countries that has the most comparative advantages for investment, for development, for carrying out legal businesses,” he said.

Without specifying the statistical data on which his projection is based, López Obrador specified that his forecast is based on the arrival of more foreign investment and the financial stability that Mexico has.

“Is Mexico very attractive for foreign investment. It is one of the countries that is receiving the most foreign investment in the world and of the countries with better financial and economic stability”, he specified from his morning conference in Mexico City.

Faced with this encouraging panorama in the economy, López Obrador called on his compatriots to learn about the history and culture of Mexico to strengthen the pride of being Mexican.

“That is why we have to know where we come from, to also know where to go and not believe ourselves less than others, we are not more but we are not less than anyone and we must strengthen the pride of being Mexican, that which our migrant countrymen have”, he commented from the National Palace.

“A countryman told me, ‘don’t forget the president,’ because he thanked them for the support that our relatives send, for the remittances, and they answered me ‘don’t forget, president, that we left Mexico, but Mexico has not left nosotros’, that’s it”, recounted the Mexican president to highlight the call for Mexican pride.
