This was the unusual warning that OceanGate gave to the crew of the Titan before each trip

Of a total of 90 dives made in the North Atlantic to reach the wreckage of the Titanic, only 13 were successful.

The Titanic is the most famous ocean liner in the world, its tragic history continues to arouse curiosity despite the years that have passed and many people want to see the submerged remains, but it is not something easy.

This was revealed by the tragedy that occurred a few weeks ago with the Titan submarine, which carried out exclusive tourist tours and in one of them five millionaires died horribly, although according to another person who took the same tour, the OceanGate company warned them explicitly what could happen to them.

The news of what happened to the Titan submarine went around the world, first because of the disappearance of the crew with everything and the submersible, then because of the implosion they suffered and the way they died. Almost a month after the fact, people are still talking about what happened and the details that come out are beyond lurid.

Bill Price, an American who traveled long ago in the OceanGate company submersible to see the remains of the Titanic told The New York Times about his experience. He said that prior to the immersion, the company gave them a talk that he described as “macabre” and also made them sign a responsive waiving the right to sue in case of death.

The risk of implosion explained by OceanGate

Of course the risk of implosion (what happened in the last expedition) was present in the previous talk. According to Price, they used a soda can to show them what could happen, then took a mallet and smashed it with it.

They compared the pressure that could affect the submersible with what an elephant would endure supporting all its weight on one leg and supporting 100 other pachyderms on its shoulders. Which suggests that the moments before the death of the passengers were terrible.

The American also explained that the responsive that the users of the submarine had to sign informed them that, of a total of 90 dives made in the North Atlantic to reach the wreckage of the Titanic, only 13 were successful.

Despite warnings, people shelled out $250,000 to visit the Titanic wreck, many made it and had a safe dive, but this was not the case for Pakistani millionaire Shahzada Dawood and her 19-year-old son Suleman; the French explorer Paul-Henri Nargeolet; the British explorer Hamish Harding and the CEO of the firm OceanGate, Stockton Rushla.
