The issue of the inclusion of trans people in sports is, in addition to being controversial, widely discussed today and in football history Megan Rapinoe has not refused to escape giving her opinion on the matter.

“She is still extremely transphobic. I see trans women as real women. What you’re automatically saying in the argument is that you don’t think these people are women. I don’t think like that,” she explained.

After the Women’s World Cup, which will begin in the next few days, she will hang up her boots after having won three world cups and with the possibility of a fourth this summer.
