Do you already know where you are going to enjoy the fireworks this July 4 in Los Angeles?

Angelenos will have different options to see a light show and fireworks

If you like to enjoy fireworks on the 4th of July, you should know that although some displays have been canceled this year due to new environmental restrictions, there are still plenty of places where you can go to enjoy them. In some places the light show is free; and in others, there is a charge.

Here is a list of some places in Los Angeles County where you can go to celebrate the 247th anniversary of the Independence of the United States with fireworks or through a drone light show.

  • Drone Show: In Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles, in front of City Hall on Spring Street there will be music and food; and the drone show will start at 4 in the afternoon. Address: 135 N Grand Ave. Los Angeles, 90012. The event is free.
  • Fireworks and Concert at the Hollywood Bowl: For three consecutive nights, from July 2 to July 4, this stage will have a fireworks display along with a performance by the Beach Boys Band and the Hollywood Orchestra. . Only to enjoy the show you have to buy your ticket.
    • Fireworks and Movie on July 1 at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery: Cost is $45 and $20 for parking. After the movie Pee-wee’s Big Adventure ends, there will be an electric fireworks display.
      • Fireworks in El Segundo: There will be festivities all day from 10 am to 9 pm when the fireworks display will begin. To enter you have to buy a wristband that costs $5.
        • Culver City Fireworks: The celebration will take place beginning at 3:30 pm on the West Los Angeles College campus on July 3. It will cost $10 plus $20 for parking.
          • Free fireworks in Marina del Rey: Starting at 9 pm, you can see them from Burton W. Chase Park or Fisherman’s Village. Although the event is free, be prepared to pay for parking.
            • Free fireworks in Santa Fe Springs: The event will be on July 3 at Los Nietos Park starting at 4:30 pm while the fireworks show will be at 9 pm; Leading up to this celebration at 8 pm at Santa Fe Springs Athletic Fields on 9720 Pioneer Boulevard there will be another fireworks display.
              • Free Fireworks at Crescenta Valley: The event will take place at 9pm at Crescenta Valley High School, but starting at 4pm, the Independence Day festivities will kick off. Although there is no charge, donations will be accepted. 1
                • Fireworks in Pico Rivera for a modest sum: At the Pico Rivera Sports Arena there will be a festival starting at 5 in the afternoon, with an exhibition of cars, food, live music that will conclude with fireworks. The ticket is $15 and parking is free.
                  • Free Fireworks at Walnut: The celebration with music and food begins at 5 pm at Suzanne Park, with the fireworks display at 9 pm.
                    • Free Fireworks in Arcadia on July 1: The festivities begin at Huntington Drive and Diamond street at 5 pm with the display at 9 pm.
                      • Free Fireworks at South Gate Park: Although there will be festivities from July 1 to July 4, the fireworks show is on July 4 at 8:30 pm. Admission and parking are free.
                        • Laser lights in San Fernando: The festival is free and will take place on July 1 at the San Fernando mall located in the center, starting at 6 pm to conclude with the laser show.
                          • Free fireworks in Lynwood: On July 3 from 5 pm the festivities will begin in Lynwood City Park, which will conclude with the light show.
                          • Fireworks in Whittier: On July 4 at York Field, the party will begin at 5 pm and end with the fireworks display at 9 pm. Cost is $5 per person, and free for veterans and children 17 and under.
                            • Free Fireworks at La Puente: On July 3 from 4-9pm at La Puente Park, there will be a festival that will conclude with fireworks and a laser show.
                              • Free Lakeview Terrace Drone Light Show: On July 2 at Dam Soccer Fields there will be a music festival that will end with the drone light show.
                                • Free Fireworks in South El Monte: On July 1, there will be festivities at South El Monte High School, New Temple Park and other places. At 9pm there will be fireworks in the park.
                                  • Free Fireworks in Norwalk: On July 1 at 1pm the celebrations will kick off at the Civic Center Lawn. The fireworks show will start at 9 pm.
