Christian Pulisic is one of the best footballers in the United States who has not been able to explode in the Premier League with Chelsea. Now, the American winger is in Lyon’s sights in Ligue 1.

Olympique Lyon would be very interested in signing Pulisic after not having a good season and being left out of international competitions for the following season.

L’Equipe reported that Chelsea is asking for 20 million dollars for the American, although the competition is difficult due to the interest of several teams in Pulisic.

Pulisic’s numbers at Chelsea

Pulisic has not had a good year with Chelsea, a team that is coming off its worst defeat in recent years.

During the 2022-2023 campaign, the American scored a goal and provided an assist in 24 games played. In the Champions League he only gave one pass on goal in 5 games.

In 145 games, Pulisic has 26 goals and 21 assists with the blue uniform, numbers similar to those he left at Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

Pulisic has had a better scoring pace with the United States team where he has 23 goals in 57 games, although he has not been able to consolidate his way of playing in the national team in a club in Europe.

Chelsea continues to rebuild its team after a bad season in which they were left in the middle of the table and out of international competitions.

N’Golo Kanté, Koulibaly and Edouard Mendy different teams from the Saudi Pro League were sent to Saudi Arabia.

The departure of Kai Havertz and Mason Mount from the team is also expected in what will be a restructuring of the club for the 2023-2024 campaign.

Manchester City go for Josko Gvardiol

Manchester City are willing to pay more than $100 million for Croatian central defender Josko Gvardiol from Red Bull Leipzig from the Bundesliga. Gvardiol was one of the most prominent center-backs during the Qatar 2022 World Cup with Croatia.
City will also incorporate Croatian Mateo Kovacic, who will arrive from Chelsea to reinforce the midfield.
