A group of hikers found human remains on Saturday on a mountain where British actor Julian Sands went missing several months ago. The body was transferred to the coroner’s office to be identified in the next few days.
According to CNNhikers contacted the Fontana sheriff’s station after they discovered the remains in the Mount Baldy wilderness, where rescuers have been searching since Sands’ cell phone tracker led them there.
A few days ago, Sands’ family members issued a statement expressing their interest in obtaining results from the investigations.: “We continue to hold Julian in our hearts, with fond memories of him as a wonderful father, husband, explorer, lover of the natural world and the arts, and as an original and collaborative artist.” It was on January 13 when the actor – known for films such as “A room with a view” and “Leaving Las Vegas” – was reported missing. after he went hiking in the San Bernardino Mountains, a place where snowstorms are extreme during the winter.
