The musical theater play “Once upon one more time”which presents hits by the singer Britney Spears, opened on Broadway, as announced since last year. She turned to her account of instagram to write a message to the team of actors and producers: “Good luck to the cast and crew of “Once Upon a One More Time”, opening night today!!! I’ve seen the show and it’s so funny and classy and brilliant.”

The staging is not about the singer, but rather shows the adventures of various princesses from fairy tales, such as Cinderella and Snow White, with the themes “Circuses”, “Sometimes” and “Oops! I did it again -among others- as background music and giving rise to elaborate choreographies. It can be considered one of Britney’s first works released after she terminated the legal guardianship that was in charge of her father. Jamie Spears.

The producers of “Once upon one more time”, James Nederlander and Hunter Arnold, told Variety that pop princess asked that the play not deal with any aspect of his personal life: “In fact, it was Britney who approached us and said: “We would like to have a show based on my music, and specifically not a musical biography”. The original idea came from ideas submitted by her. She loves fairy tales, princesses and story books. We didn’t get it instantly. Then we did a workshop when we got the current version, she came to see the work and gave her opinions”.
