$500 Guaranteed Income Program Direct Payment to be Sent to California This Week – Here's the Date

As of June 30, beneficiaries of the El Monte guaranteed income program in Los Angeles County, California they will receive payments of up to $500 a month specially designed to help mothers in the city.

According to the city’s director of Economic and Community Development, lPayments will be issued the first days of each month through debit cardswhich were distributed to the beneficiaries.

According to the official, applications for the program began on March 27 and closed on April 15 of this year so that applicants were selected on April 26. Recipients will have financial aid for one year.with 12 payments in total, therefore, the last payment will be on May 31, 2024.

Applicants must have met certain requirements for their application, such as; have an income equal to or less than the poverty line of the entity, being a single mother or housewife with children under 17 years of age and have been affected by the pandemic either through illness or financially.

In addition, they should present a government-issued identification card, proof of income and documents certifying your residence in the city. If you want to know more information about the program you can consult it through its website.
