Well, a German outlet had revealed that Cruise was devastated after Shakira’s supposed rejection of the “Mission Impossible” star.
Given this, the 60-year-old artist is very interested in the interpreter of “Te Felicito”, according to some close sources, and apparently he will continue to insist on conquering her for some time.
Let’s remember that it was at the Miami Formula One Grand Prix where the protagonist and producer of “Mission Impossible” and the singer from Barranquilla, Colombia, were very close.
It was precisely for this reason that, after being captured at said event, various media began to report what was happening among celebrities.
The first to do so was Page Six, who revealed that, according to a source close to Nicole Kidman’s ex-husband, he announced that Cruise was interested in the Colombian.
“He is extremely interested in looking for her. There’s chemistry.” adding that Tom might have an advantage by being “an attractive and talented guy”He also stated that he was so captivated by the South American, and he had even sent her flowers.
But on the part of Shakira, the perception would be somewhat different, because she would not have felt comfortable with what she lived next to Tom, and for that very reason she would have spoken to him to ask him to stop his courtship.
Despite the refusal, the big screen heartthrob is apparently still interested in the South American, as he recently offered an interview in which he talked about her.
It was during a meeting with the press, where the reporters asked him about his relationship with Shakira, and although he tried to avoid the subject, he did not stop flattering the singer.
“She is so talented. She and her family are lovely people. I have always admired her work. She is a great person, a good person.” Tom Cruise indicated, in a brief conversation where a reporter also made a comment in reference to the famous theme “Hips don’t lie”, for which the protagonist of “Top Gun” responded with a big smile and in a mocking tone: “No, they don’t lie. They do not do it”.
Despite the fact that Tom Cruise wanted to conquer Shakira, she rejected him, as she apparently decided to start dating the Formula 1 driver, Lewis Hamilton.
