“The escort business has an owner”: Alleged CJNG hitmen subjugated several women in Guanajuato

Violence in Mexico has several edges and different names, one of them is constant in different parts of the country and is characterized by four letters, it is the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), whose tentacles have spread to various areas, such as the sex trade, since a video was recently released in which hitmen from the criminal group subdue several women who allegedly provide accompaniment in exchange for money.

Known as escorts, the women are kneeling while the hitmen talk and threaten them with firearmsdemanding a flat fee to let them work in the sex service, otherwise they will end their lives, according to the men in the video.

At least five subjects, all hooded, appear in the recording. Two have black hoodies with the CJNG initials in white and three carry assault rifles.

“This is so you know that this escort business has an owner, CJNG, and they have to be reported every week. It will be controlled with a bracelet that will be delivered from us. Anyone who doesn’t listen will be charged with the ve#$%&. We have them located,” says a hitman.

As he speaks, another of the hooded men asks one of the women to get on the ground to which she replies that please don’t shoot him, he puts his foot on her back to immobilize her, while the other hit man continues talking and He says that this also applies to escorts who offer their services through social networks and those who work in bars. The recording ends and it is unknown what happened to the women.

According to Ciro Gómez Leyva’s newscast on Imagen Televisión, the federal authorities confirmed that the video is recent and was recorded in Guanajuato, although they said they did not know if it occurred in the city of León, as has been handled by different people.

Added to this, It is not known if the hitmen actually belong to the CJNG or were posing as members of that organization.because the clothes they use with the initials of the cartel are not the ones that its members usually wear.

This is not the first time that organized crime has terrorized escorts. Several years ago, a video was released in which hitmen subjugate women engaged in sex services, even cutting their hair to threaten them.
