The Brazilian soccer player Neymar is not going through the best moment on a professional level, nor on a personal level, since not only did he have to apologize to his partner after an alleged infidelity, but, in addition, he would also receive a million-dollar fine for the improvements he is making to his impressive mansion in Rio de Janeiro.
According to information from various Brazilian media, the Paris Saint-Germain player could be forced to pay more than $1,000,000 dollars for committing various environmental violations due to the changes he is making to the house he has in the luxurious Aero Rural condominium, in the Mangaratiba community.
The authorities went to the home of the soccer star after receiving several citizen complaints and there they realized that various offenses were being committed, for which they proceeded to stop the work.
During his visit they found a diversion of a water course, unauthorized extraction of water from a river, as well as extraction of water for an artificial lake, actions for which, clearly, he did not have any permission.
“The next step will be to assess the irregularities found and issue a fine that, according to estimates and in view of the environmental damage caused, will not be less than five million reais (around one million dollars),” reported the authorities headed by the Municipal Secretary of the Environment of Mangaratiba.
Although Neymar was not in the place at the time of the visit, his father was and he was arrested for contempt, although he was later released.
The mansion of discord was bought by the former Barcelona player in 2016, and there are several luxuries, such as a helipad, sports fields, a spa, a sauna, a massage room, a gym, and areas for food and drink.
