Karla Martínez was absent from the first two programs of “Despierta América” this week and some of her fans are quite concerned, since the other drivers have not referred to her absence and have not given the reasons for it.
This occurs, after the recent statements of Javier Ceriani, host of ‘Chisme No Like’, about the fact that Univision’s morning show is not at its best and has suffered a very considerable drop in its rating, which is why some of the show’s followers wonder if the Mexican could have been fired.
That is why in the publication that they make every morning on their Instagram account to announce the start of the show, there were some comments asking about the presenter’s situation. “Question, hello, did you vote for Karla? I heard that she no longer works with Univision, thank you ”was one of the messages that could be read.
For her part, she has not commented on anything through her social networks and neither have her colleagues from ‘Despierta América’, although it is also true that she does not use her social networks too much.
However, the rumors of a possible dismissal are well founded, taking into account that she is one of the longest-serving hosts at Univision and for the same reason, she is considered to be one of the best paid in the company.
According to the ‘People With Money’ page, his salary would be around $30,000. and in 2016 she was included in a list of the 10 highest paid presenters on Hispanic television, so if, as they say, the ratings are very low, they could have decided to thank her.
