Central American and Caribbean Games 2023: This will be the Mexican calendar for the Baseball tournament

Baseball will be part of one of the disciplines of the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games and Mexico will seek to take the gold medal with the representation of 24 sluggers.

All the players who will wear the Mexican uniform play in the Mexican Baseball League and they will seek the first Mexican gold medal in the history of the competition. If they win, the Mexican team will qualify for the 2023 Pan American Games in Chile.

Cuba has been one of the most winning countries in this discipline with 15 medalsfollowed by the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico with 3 medals respectively and then Venezuela and Colombia with one each.

The tournament will start on Saturday, June 24, two days after the start of the Central American and Caribbean Games that will begin in El Salvador this Friday, June 23.

The dispute for the bronze medal and the gold medal will take place on July 1.

The team is made up of: two catchers, six infielders, four outfielders and twelve pitchers.
