A boy and a teenager are critically injured in a vehicle crash in South Los Angeles

Four people were injured, including a child and a teenager in critical condition.for an accident that involved five vehicles on Tuesday night in South Los Angeles.

The mishap occurred at approximately 7:45 p.m. in the 9500 block of Main Streetaccording to information from the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).

The authorities reported that a 17-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy were in critical condition.

For the accident, a 14-year-old girl was taken to hospital in serious conditionwhile a 31-year-old woman also sustained some non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the LAFD, the woman was driving west while the driver of a gray Infinity, traveling north on Main Street, ran a red light and collided with the woman’s vehicle.

The adolescents and the under 5-year-old were traveling in the vehicle driven by the woman.

The driver of the Infinity and at least two companions fled after the accident.

Some witnesses stated that they had seen the driver of the Infinity flee the scene on foot and mentioned that his face was covered in blood.

The authorities They are investigating the incident as a hit and run case..
