The researchers of the Portage County Humane League in Ohio made a gruesome discovery, the remains, in various stages of decomposition, of 146 dogs. The tragedy of the case is that the discovery occurred in the house of the co-founder of Canine Lifeline, Barbara Wible.

The grim discovery came at a residence in Mantua, after the animal protection league said it had learned of a possible episode of animal cruelty.
