Authorities Arrest Third Suspect in Long Beach Metro Train Homicide at LAX

Authorities arrested at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to a third suspect in connection with a homicide committed on a Metro train in Long Beach.

It’s a statement, The Long Beach Police Department reported that Hispanic Gael Cruz González, 21, a Compton resident, was detained by United States Customs and Border Protection agents while trying to board a flight at Los Angeles International Airport bound for Mexico.

Cruz-González was taken into custody by allegedly related to the murder of Luis Fernando Polita, committed on April 12.

Polita was stabbed to death on a Metro Blue Line train in Long Beach.

The victim was stabbed multiple times in the upper body.injuries that caused his death after being treated by paramedics who treated him in the wagon and transferred him to a hospital.

According to investigations, Polita took the train outside of Long Beach and was attacked by three men who boarded the transport after it arrived in the city.

the hispanic man he was immediately attacked by one of the attackers with a knife, and they later escaped on foot when the train stopped at a station.

Days after the murder, two teenagers were arrested on suspicion of participating in the crime.

The authorities accused Akili Collins, 18, and Melake Daniel, 19, as suspects in the murder of Polita.

For now, The investigation is ongoing to find out the reason for the stabbingbut detectives suspect it was the result of a confrontation on the train.

Cruz-González was booked into the Long Beach City Jail and is in the custody of authorities on a $2 million dollar bond.

Collins’ bail was set at $2 million.and Daniel’s was at $1 million dollars.
