Elderly Hispanic woman stabbed to death in a residence in Baldwin Park

An elderly Hispanic woman was stabbed to death Wednesday night at a residence in the city of Baldwin Parkthe authorities reported.

The homicide was reported at approximately 8:00 p.m. in the 13600 block of Palm Avenue.said the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD).

When officers arrived, they found the elderly woman on the ground and had at least one stab wound to the upper body.

A Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedic team arrived at the scene and confirmed that the woman had already died at the scene due to her injuries.

The family described the victim as an elderly woman, without giving her age.

A murder investigation was launched and detectives said the victim had been stabbed by a manwithout providing any further information about the suspect.

Later it was reported that during the investigation, the victim’s adult son had been detained and subsequently taken into custody.

No additional possible suspects have been reported.

The authorities said that it is a case with an ongoing investigation. and that at the moment there were no additional details.
