In addition to this, the information revealed by Canyellas explains how the two teams are already in negotiations to exchange the player. Furthermore, he let it be known that “Mallorca’s feelings are positive, they see it with the possibility of reaching an agreement.”
Montes arrived at Espanyol in the January market for 8 million euros, about $12 million US dollars, after his stint with Rayados de Monterrey of Liga MX.
