Jim Miller, veteran UFC fighter, brutally knocked out rookie Jesse Butler in just 23 seconds on the Vegas 74 billboard, which took place at the Apex facilities in Las Vegas. The American now holds the record for wins in company history with 25 and took home a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.

The 39-year-old held his opponent’s breath, who accepted the fight with little preparation time, and pinned him against the cage. Over there, landed a powerful left hook that sent Butler to the canvas and then with an uppercut to the head he finished knocking him out. The rookie fell completely bent over and staring blankly at the canvas, but was then able to get up and get out of the octagon on his own.

“I really appreciate Jesse, he came here a little over two days early. I had a great camp, feeling good. When I’m on, I’m dangerous to anyone in the world”Miller said in the interview about the Octagon.

Jim Miller assured that this victory brings him closer to his ultimate goal which is to compete in UFC 300: “I want to end my career the way I started my career and that is to fight as often as I can. At this point in my career, I just want to have good fights.”.

With this result, the UFC veteran secured an extra $50,000 for his performance and now owns 17 career finishes in MMA and the record held by Charles Oliveira is approaching, with 19.
