While within the Águilas del América they continue to search for a coach to accept the difficult position of winning the first team, the Mexican journalist -and showman- Álvaro Morales continues to press through ESPN to be taken into account.

Again Álvarito used the program Spicy Soccer to ensure that he has the knowledge and preparation to take the azulcrema bench.

“Here I am. I have the coaching staff, the knowledge, the license (…) What do you expect? I can lead you to greatness. Time is running out”, said Álvaro Morales in relation to América.

Although the communicator is a passionate defender of the cream-blue team, He lacks experience in football benches since his entire career has been linked to sports media, including more than 10 years linked to the ESPN network.

His opinions and television interventions are always controversial because they border on subjectivity and his defense of Club América, despite the results.

Álvaro Morales coach of America? Santiago Baños might not have it on the list

Everything indicates that the departure of Fernando ‘Tano’ Ortiz from the technical direction was not peaceful and caught the managers off guard.

For more than a week the sports president Santiago Baños has been in the arduous task of getting a winning coach to take the bench, but everyone on the list has been ruled out.

Diego Alonso, Javier ‘Vasco’ Aguirre, Hernán Crespo and Ricardo ‘El Tigre’ Gareca have been the ones who cannot assume responsibility. Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino was also on the list, but he was quickly ruled out by cream-blue owner Emilio Azcárraga Jean.

The one who sounds loud in the last hours is Matías Almeyda, however unlikely it may sound. The Argentine multi-champion in Mexico with Chivas de Guadalajara comes from being champion of the Greek Super League and is of interest to the Eagles.

Will Álvaro Morales be considered by America? Everything seems not, but in the desperate search for a coach the options are increasingly limited.
